제주국제합창축제 & 심포지엄은 2017년 2월을 첫 회로 매년 2월에 개최되고 있습니다. 국내외 최고의 합창단들을 초대하여 아름다운 평화의 섬 제주에서 세계의 합창을 선보이고 심포지엄을 통해 저명한 합창전문가들의 강의로 이루어집니다. 안드레 토마스(미국), 안톤 암스트롱(미국), 폴 피닉스(영국), 안드레아 안젤리니(이탈리아), 스토얀 쿠렛(슬로베니아), 비타우타스 미슈키니스(리투아니아), 우링펀(중국), 등 세계 각 국의 지휘자 및 합창 전문가들을 초빙해 세계의 합창과 문화를 배우고 반대로 한국의 합창과 문화를 알리는 축제로 거듭나고 있습니다. 특히, ACDA의 국제교류프로그램 위원장을 맡고있는 미국의 티제이하퍼교수는 매년 본 축제에 협력감독으로 참여하고 있습니다.

   축제와 함께 심포지엄은 더욱 더 심도있고 집중된 프로그램으로 한국에서 접하기 어려운 해외 합창 강의를 준비하고 단순한 수업으로 맺는 것이 아닌 콰이어 클리닉 및 워크샵 등으로 제주와 한국의 음악가들이 받아들이기 수월하도록 노력하고 있습니다.

   Jeju International Choir Festival & Symposium has been held every February since 2017. The event is including choral concerts and choral symposium with many invited choirs and choral musicians from Korea and abroad. Audiences and participants can enjoy choral music in various ways during the festival period in Jeju, the island of peace. Andre Thomas(U.S.), Anton Armstrong(U.S.), Paul Phoenix(England), Andrea Angelini(Italy), Stojan Kuret(Slovenia), Vytautas Miskinis(Lithuania), Wu Ling Fen(China), and more were invited last events. Specially, T.J.Harper, who is the chair of International activities in ACDA, serves the festival as the associate director every year. Many choral conductors/musicians and choirs from abroad gather not only to share their choral music and cultures but also to publicize Korean choral music and culture.

   The festival and symposium is working hard to make people to learn abroad choral music and cultures in various ways of study with in-depth subjects.
